Watch 12 minutes of gameplay from Battlefield 3, featuring never before shown footage!
Join us as we follow Staff Sgt. Black and his team of U.S. Marines into the bad part of town, as they move to the rooftops to eliminate an enemy sniper in an abandoned hotel.
This in-game footage from Battlefield 3 shows off the ANT animation technology in all its glory and as the explosive finish to the Battlefield 3 Fault Line series draws near, Sgt. Black is tasked with disarming a home-made bomb, leading to first-person melee combat with the bomber and a large-scale firefight in the streets against massive opposition.

Ive got somethings to tell all of you 1:at 3:14 I SEE AN FU****G M4 CARBINE FLOATING 2:since when did M4 have 31 bullets? 3:how come at the ammo in clip/ammo in belt when you run out of belt ammo you get clip ammo everytime you reload 4:and when a building is collqpsing on you WHO JUST RAISES THEIR HAND And you freks call all this realism? if you have a chambered round you will have 31 bullets. check out how after he reloads its back to 30 rounds. also, Trollfanboy is a serious condition.

Only Reason COD sales is becuase any child can play it, battlefield requires some thought. Parents buy games for kids because they think its the new best thing so they get it not to mention COD add are all over the place. what are parents to think. I am boycotting COD i liked it back in the day when it first came out on PC. but now it seems they just through a pile of crap at you to get your money and say its awsome with a billon ads flooding the market.

there is a vietnam add on for bfbc2 its pretty cool but not ww2 I personally am tired of the archaic weaponry of the world war era and am loving the modern big city look of this new one. If a shooter doesn't have as good environmental damage as this then it doesn't say micromachine and its not the real thing!

its a good thing they showed us more of him crawling and walking down halways, now i definately know more about the game. i will be getting this game, but in all honesty this video was bull, the only part that actually should anything new that is notewrthy was in the last 20 seconds. and quite honestly, i wish they didnt get better graphics, didnt get new gameplay or vehicles, and didnt get a better engine and maybe, just maybe let you part up with more than 4 people...*gasp*!....that seems impossible, that must be technology from the future....oh dice.....

Nice vedio, but there are many BUGs in this vedio, the most obvious BUG is when the machine gun is shooting, the bullets line on the side is not be move into the machine gun (time in the vedio: about 10:28 and 10:56). really hope DICE can fix these BUGs as soon as possible.

OMG!!! I actually cried watching this!! As much as I love Bad Company 2 and finally have a great group of grownup ex-military and active duty guys I fight with....BF3 is gonna take it over the top! Why would anybody want to play COD ever again?

Well, not me xD.....after that P.O.S. dumb-*** CoD: Black Ops, I'm freakin' sick of playing CoD.....not to mention some other FPS games, like Homefront (OMG, the shortest game of all times) BF3 deserves GOTY award for this year, and the years to come.....we expect a full support with ***'s and mappack once the game comes out, and even expansion packs etc., because I'll own each and every one of them :D FrostBite 2 engine beats the crap out of the CryTek engine and even Unreal 3 engine......ANT animation is awesomely used to animate characters (EA sports, we thank you ;))

This game is epic. I have been a loyal fan since 1942. You guys have continued to impress me since day 1. I don't know how people can argue over which franchise is better, between BF and CoD. CoD isn't a team based game like BF. You can win by youself in that game (which i have), its just a differen't approche on an arcade deathmatch style game. BF was and always will be a game designed for team play, if there is no team work you can't push forward, to recapture that section of the map. BFBC2 was great, still play it after a year now. As well with Bf2. I just don't want you too fall in the CoD trap of trying to simulate that game play, Homefront did it, and so did Crysis 2. (multiplayer). Anyways, I'm so excited for the multiplayer. The single player campaign looks amazing, and i'll play that first thing. But the multiplayer is the one thing i want. Our clan is waiting. Keep up the good work, and keep release these teaser video clips.

i think he meant can you blow up whole buildings (in COD)? the answer is NO. same geos for driving boats/cars/helicopters/crazy UAVs with rockets you also cant parachute into a multiplayer game (or parachute at all) BF3>COD any day!!!

in bad company 2 you can blow up the whole buildings and you can kill the enemy like that. its a lot of fun to put C4 around the building, wait till 3-4 guys get in there and drop it on them, get 4 kills with a press of a button., hella fun...

I thought that was a "never seen before footage", but we all already have seen about 70% os this video in the "Fault Line Series". Please, next video show us a multplayer footage, showing us about the tanks, boats, aircraft and the potencial of Frostbite 2 in a multplayer match. (Show us the actual console version of the game too!) Thanks.

It did feature new footage. The compilation of all the previous clips had more in it and with the added footage at the end of the vehicle combat is very exciting. I am also excited about the potential of Frostbite 2 in multiplayer but to show the console version? Why would you want to see a graphically inferior version in a promotional video? This game is (at least they have said it is) made for the PC.

In websites and interviews there is information regarding this DICE said that they will make the PC version much better than the console version because the first Battlefield game (BF1942) is made for the PC and that is the main reason and that the PC have better graphics and the fact that the PC version's Online MP supports 64 players/server while the console will have only 32

I am waiting for multiplayer videos as well. So far, game looks like a COD in the SP campaign but with destruction and more character driven. MP is what made the BF series.

I agree, but CoD seems to not be too realistc (like the soliders animations, explosions, etc...) as well the CoD series stops at the first Modern Warfare, after this one the only changes was the skins and the maps of the game. A new Battlefield game it is always better than the predecessor!

You might want to invest in a serious pc rig. If you read the interview they say this game is being built around a high end pc. They do not want to allow a console to hold back the game. PC's are allot more powerfull than a console... I am not saying a console is bad, I have one myself. But I also have an overclocked high end pc that ranks with in the top 90% world wide. costume biult.

I´m not asking to they show everything, just a little, like they did in the Bad Company 2 before the release. Something like a multiplayer tease (and a "console tease " as well to people see if the console version it is all that bad like some PC players are saying...) not much, i think.

Cereal, the only new thing we got to see is prone ftw, destructible cover ftl and hot brass rain would be a terrible thing to get caught in (gg gunship). Solo campaign still needs more options, looking too much like a rail shooter with nav points (anyone else think its odd that no matter where you go all the doors are locked and 99% of the streets are blocked? It's like were trapped in a maze...).

I know what you mean - that bothers me about a LOT of games...I guess its just beyond the scope of games/companies as they are now to be that open ended and still have a driven storyline. I mean, when I played FarCry for the first time, I spent about half an hour just piddling around on the first part of the first mission because it was SO big...I guess FPS's just need to be more driven. Perhaps a greater choice of waypoints...like being able to choose between 3 routes and there being different pros and cons for each? Sure the storyline would have to be the same, but how you got there??...Unless of course that falls to far into the realms of RPG?

Terribly sorry but we cannot show you more due to intervene hacking and spying on camp areas. We will show you more of you purchase the game however you can wait for the demo but not the beta version. This is top priority to us and we cannot allow so much to be viewed. Thanks for being a EA fan!

we all do but we don't have to say it like we're going gay about it. COD is a joke, it's like 1998's 007 on crack and people cant get enough of it. DICE realized years ago that it takes talent to play in a game where everyone has a chance at being equal, a plane can kill a lot of people, but a well trained AA gun pilot will destroy a plane, and so fourth. That's the base of this game, and it's why I keep coming back for every installment. They had me hooked at operation DDay, with Normandy in BF1942 and I've been loving it ever since. Talk about an amazing franchise for the video game world. Keep up the great work, this game looks ridiculous!
