      well, the speeds to me are right, in a dogfight the jets arent going to be at top speed, so a dogfight takes place 300-250 miles per hour, they did not scale the speed back too much, may 25-40 percent back

        Okay, that is a pretty specific number, I doubt it. It kinda sounds like you just pulled that **** out your ***, and that speed is more like beginning a decent at like 600ft+ for like a aircraft that carries cargo or multiple passengers, and even most of those plains have to travel at least 300+ to stay in the air, others have to go faster. I would not travel that slow if i was gettin' my a s s lit-up by the guy behind me... would you? if you would i think your s t u i p i d.

      if a jet fighter was to go regular speed which would prolly be about mach 1 or mach 2, it would take less than half a second to fly across the entire multiplayer map. thats just one example of how DICE is taking realism into effect.

        Mach 1 is about 725 mph depending on altitude so sorry unless u want to pull some serious G's and go int to G-lock i don't suggest it lol

      true, but if the jets were going accual speed, they would fly by the map in like, 0.37 seconds, I read that in gameinformer interveiw.

      they probably will be but in real life when your in a jet cockpit it feels slow but from the ground you can see the actual speed if the makes sense :)

        f18 radar can track and kill up to six targets simultaneously, the f22 can do 8 or more depending on its load out...yeah, american hardware kicks ***

    Looks effing GREAT! You really know how to live up to the hype DICE! Oh and MilanusPickenus, the planes speed is a little slow I agree but its not like its annoyingly slow? They may bump up the speed a notch but it aint necessary! And besides thats what the BETA is for! :D

      those are su-27's. now, to the developers. i have not played any other battlefield game except BC2. so i might be complaining about nothing. in bf play4free, the jets flew extremely weird, aerodynamics didnt see to matter, so, can we have more realistic flying? its hard to tell from one videos what its going to be like, also, a more realistic stall, in play4free you lose complete control, in life if you have enough altitude, just point the stick down and opposite rudder if you are in a spin. also, can we have AGM's? also, a more realistic way of using using chaffs and flares, so it requires more skill in the pilots. but, i really am not doubting BF3. the gameplay is awsome. so is the audo, and the graphics. good job.
