This December, go back to the four most loved maps from Battlefield 2, boldly reimagined with enhanced destruction in the Frostbite 2 engine. In this trailer, witness the very first ingame shots from Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island, from the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand. exactly! My friend told me to buy MW3 and i said to him "why should I do that? Its the same thing if i would go and borrow CoD4 from my other friend!" BF changes all the time and new BF is always much better than the last one.... CoD remains the same thats the difference and reason I dont buy CoD games :)

I have both copies, and I have to say, BF is by far better than COD. COD's single player campaign was great, I won't lie their, But the multiplayer is just garbage. Their adding too much ""bs"" in order for people to buy their game. And $50 for elite?? LMAO. Theirs nothing special about elite except looking at your stats and other ""bs."" I'll save the $50 and buy the other maps coming out after the free Karkand map. BF's online play exceeds, no, over exceeds the best online play out of any game.

THe only thing I like on COD3 is the campaign story. But by FAR... BATTLEFIELD TAKES THE FOREFRONT IN REALISM, INTENSE GAMEPLAY, AND ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. Move over Call of Duty franchise.. you have made your maker... BATTLEFIELD 3. And the last time I checked, BF sold more copies :).

The thing of it is, modern warfare is mindless run and gun. No real strategy applies, other than controlling your fire. You don't really have to work with teammates, you don't have to plan out the game. Just jump in, and have a blast. Battlefield, on the other hand, requires a bit more teamwork. People playing different classes supporting one another, working in tandem to complete an objective. Much like the real military works. So, If you like games like team fortress 2 or unreal tournament, go with modern warfare. For the rest of us, Battlefield is exactly our cup of tea.

why do you / people even compare MW3 with BF 3 ., i played MW . MW2 .,And will buy MW3 as well becouse i love playing it ,. That counts for Battlefield 2 ,bad company and badcompany 2,. and now Battlefield 3 as well ,.. i really love the games i bought them all as well ,.. the diffrences between both makers of the games and goals of the games,. are totally diffrent,.. COD is a shooter,.. where Battlefield is more like a strategy game,. Cod has enhanced packages ,.... where battlefield has Vehicles and equipment,... my point is ,. Stop whining and comparing the games with each other ,. they are both great games,. with there Good things and Bad things,... just my 2 pennies.

we wouldnt normally compare games this harsh but battlefield 3 game designers targeted mw3 to compete with them on sales and awards but in my opinion call of duty has not changed at all i played mw3 and i think it sucks its no different than any of the other call of duties. just my 2 pennies too

@mike130784 Let me tell you why I will not buy mw3. The answer is so simple - Infantry ward didn't put so much work and effort in mw3 as dice gave in bf3. Dice did a really hard work in this, they wanted this game to be the best. Well, the second reason is - I can just pirate mw3 and fully crack it. There's no need to waste my money on mw3 which is only my fourth favorite game.

True, True... MW3 is nothing compare to BF3. EA please... dont let this game go out of fuel. Keep your users community interested with new maps, new weapons, new vehicles and best of all, maps that can handle more players (22x22) at the same time. It will be cool also to have more than 2 Jets per team. BF3 is a game that I enjoy a lot and give me a lot of fun when playing. Thank you AE for this Great, Cool, Awsome game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually bought both. BF3 first of course. I bought MW3 just to see what all the hype was about. Well let me tell ya, hype was all it was. It is the same bullcrap they always produce. I find myself always coming back to BF3. So much cooler, graphics are far superior, vehicles, destruction, i mean i wish ppl would show these little MW3 diehards what a real game is supposed to look like. BF3 by far superior.

WORD!! I've been a COD player since the first one. Nothing special except too much multiplayer crap packs online. I have to say Even though I've played both franchises, BF is by far the best. COD is just too much crap. BF keeps it simple and "realistic." COD to me is like playing an arcade game online. Don't get me wrong, i Love the story, but since BF3 is totally redesigned, its far more greater than expectations. 10 stars for BF.... 8 stars for COD. My thought neways....

You're dang right! BF3 is sick!! I played COD3 online, man it doesn't even compare to BF3!! COD online just plain sucks, their put'n too much garbage in it for people to buy it. BF adds "realism" to gameplay. I'd rather have realism and intense gameplay from BF then COD's loads of garbage perks and tweaks. To the Battlefield TEAM... keep kick'n ***!!!

Gulf of Oman and Strike at Karkand were by far my two favorite maps in BF2, both of which I spent COUNTLESS hours on alone. Now I can not only get a new slew of maps but relive those, in a nearly completely destructible environment, enhanced graphics, sounds, and game play? Seriously EA & DICE, are you trying to ruin my marriage?!?! I guess my wife will just need to understand my priorities.

Yeah they are great maps... But the best of all is Wake Island! Since I got BF1942 Ive always loved Wake Island! Wake Island have been in many Battlefield games: 1942,1943, BF2 so its your duty to keep up the "tradition" :D and if and when there will be a new Battlefield you must add Wake Island to it too! :D

This brings tears to my eyes... if only people knew what it means to see these maps reimagined like this. I only wish that the same was true of Battlefield 1942 maps. Well Wake Island I guess is a survivor of the BF1942 era so I can't complain can I? *sigh* The good old days of Battleaxe and my first BF moment online, Stalingrad. I'm gonna go now and have my midlife video game crises now.

There will not be a Battlefield 4 in the future, because the game can't get better and real then it is right now! The best MMOFPS I ever played and I ever will play. My Rating: 11/10 Question Which will be the 10 extra weapons for Limited Edition customers?

there will be a 4. on american chopper they made a battle-trike for the release of 3 and the creators said they were so impressed they would need to do a 4th game just to incorparate the trike into it.

i am new to the battlefield fan club...i only started playing battlefield badcompany 2 and i got addicted big time! i play on ps3 and thats as far as my experience goes, never been a pc fan ( nothing against pc just not my cup of tea). i love these last two installments and will continue to buy the bf series. its funny a friend i play with online says he doesn't like bf3 because he feels there are too many campers and the graphics aren't as good as bf2 and the vehicles are terrible...#He'sCrazy

Haters shut up please. I love this game. Granted my lat multiplayer outing was terrible. I still have fun. So please. If you like this CoD more than this please go. They will not make it more for you. I suck at CoD. But I can get a damn good run in for battlefield. I love this game, and if it wasn't for the fact that I have so many other things to play you can be damn sure Id be level 40 by now.
