Look, I love u guys at DICE but WTF is with this trailer, it could have been a little longer and included a different song, the song is OK, its just that its a little old and u should have went with a newer one that has to do with the subject. The song doesn't sound like it belongs in this trailer, it sounds like I forgot to pause the Youtube video in the background, who ever allowed this video to pass on the site doesn't belong in this area of expertise. Don't rage at my comment its my opinion.

It is a teaser. The full trailer will be on the 26th of Sept. I can see how you might have missed that since it was heading of the clip. They did give the date for the full trailer at the end of the clip. Both of these must have gone over your head. As for the music it is great. When you are in combat most often you have 99 + problems, are rarely is a ***** one of them.

I did read it, I know this is not the real thing, i'm just sick of them making pointless trailers, for another trailer, its kind of ridiculous, don't u think? I do agree it really don't match battlefield. They should of use something like far from home by five finger death punch for a better impact, Or if they had to go to rap maybe use Infected Mushroom - Artillery... but they should of just skip rap for battlefield. Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums would sound a lot better! I think it time to make an fan trailer! hmmm... What song should i pick?

Rap is okay, just not the best song of choice, and the main problem I think is that it is only 25 seconds and they are using most game play that has already been showed and released. I agree with u too. :D

The trailer does not effect if I'm going to get the game or not, I have never said that, and I never said the song sucked or the game sucked, I love the game, and the song is not bad it just doesn't match the trailer. I don't mean any thing bad at the game because I love it.

Why on earth would a song change your resolve on buying the game? I agree they could of chosen a better song by all means, preferably one not from our Hip Hop/Rap/R&B genre, but come on. When did Jay-Z have any influence on someone when it comes to purchasing a game? It's ridiculous that people are effected simply by what they hear. And if you don't think someone like Jay-Z has influence over someone purchasing something, much less that what people hear affects them, you should look into marketing psychology. Trust me, I -want- to get the game for myself. I can see the damn gameplay, I've played the Alpha.

I care about what advertising makes people think, how it affects their attitudes, and not just about the product in question. And yeah, I do care about that more than the game. And I've sank a lot of money into my upgrading my rig to run BF3 on acceptable settings, so I clearly -do- care about the game. /conviction

I respect that the game is more important to you than the song, I do. After all, its clearly going to be a ****** game. But the song isnt a random selection, it's a marketing decision. The song is chosen because -they- determine it will make you more likely to buy the game. BF3 marketing teams deciding to use a song specifically derogatory towards women played over a trailer of soldiers shooting stuff is, to me, at best a aesthetically bad decision, and at worst outright stupid. In a game like Gears of War or GTA, where the action and violence is self aware and purposefully over the top (former) or often serves as a social commentary (latter), a song like this might serve a purpose. In a game marketing itself on realism and immersion, playing a song like this over a trailer of soldiers and vehicles run around killing people and blowing **** up is a harmful association. Is that discomfort more important than gameplay in context of BF3 itself? No. Is that discomfort more important than my money? Yes.

I agree with you, but i don't know if you are using a derogatory term against the game with the *'s, if u are i disagree with that part, the song was not the right choice. But there are no derogatory words against women in it, the word "b i t c h" (spaces to avoid stars*), is not considered a "bad word", it means female dog (I'm sure you know that, not to imply any thing "mean" by explaining it's definition.) Did someone hack DICE/EA and make this trailer? I dont really know what to say. Going from having the original ****** Battlefield Theme to this is a step in the wrong direction imho. I aint hating on BF3 or anything but really what was this?

Oh God really Dice? Jay-Z? I'd imagine BF3 would have some epic music like Mind Heist from Inception or some crazy rock music. Please don't make this something trendy like COD did with it's franchise. It's absolutely stupid!! No disrespect for people who listen to Jay-Z, but I'm sure even you guys can agree that Jay-Z isn't a good choice for war music or anything with war. But seriously, it's very unappealing.

Yes it did, all the explosions matched the beat, and it is called "Till I Collapse", and they die how much closer could u get???? if u think about it its kind of close to a soldiers life.

I'm strongly influenced by the hardcore music scene of the 90s and early 2000s. I am not one for rap music... I hate the mainstream music scene. I do however strongly agree Eminem is the most talented by far.
