    If they are gonna make muzzle flash that bright then they should probably add some shadows to it....

      i dont give two flying ***** about the the muzzle flash not casting shadows cuz thats not what im looking for in first person shooters. but good eye sir

      they did. Look at the light cast on the ground and across the body and face of the soldier. I think it looks bloody perfect!

      I agree!! it looks awsome!!! But the only thing that seems to cast shadows in this game is the sun and a few indoor lights in singleplayer.

        there are faint shadows aroun his right foot if u can see them but remember (this is coming from an artist) when its light out, shadows cast by another light source other than the sun are much dimmer than they would when in the dark. u know whan u are at a stadium and the lights are on at night? theres like 4-5 shadows on one player. this is due to the may light points. due tho the brightness of the sun, these mini shadows are almost canceld out and reult in the above picture. REMEMBER a small have of shadow is around everything at any given time no matter where

    @MilanusPickenus You can't see where the flash shadow would be in this shot. Did you look at the shadows on the ground? The tree farthest to the left in the backround looks kinda odd on the top right. The mountain behind that tree creates a darker shade but nothing bad. The mountains behind the road block on the right look copy and pasted when looking at it in full screen for a few seconds. The lower mountain looks covered in smoke or something while the one above looks natural.

        The flash comes out of the front of the barrel... The front of the barrels shadow is hidden.
