Yeah I totally agree I mean black ops bores me after about 30 minutes. the only reason I havent sold it is because of zombies, but this, this will never bore me I just cant wait. Im counting down the days untill October 25!!!!!!! and september for the beta!! Also dice can you post some more multiplayer footage. I also hope the beta is online like bfbc2

not really though. MW3 might get 50% of the FPS fans, Battlefield gets the other 50 %....... which means .............. #1 high earnings for the greedy publishing overlords #2 players will probably buy both games ( not me, i'm getting assassins creed!) and #3 maybe IW employees will get fed up at Activi$ion and go on strike unless activision gives them 4 years to develope next Call of Duty game.( i hope it's a Korean War one)

UH.....Doom was the first FPS.... Besides Battlefield 2 and Joint Operations Typhoon Rising was doing it before COD (massive online gaming that is).....I don't understand why people defend COD ...ITS THE SAME **** EVERY YEAR, to include this year now. The only good COD i thought was MW1 cause its the first of its kind. Battlefield has shown growth EVERY YEAR since its birth with weapons, vehicles, destruction, graphics etc.... but if you wish to remain ignorant go right ahead...free country :)

call of duty modern warfare 3 will be a great game and so will battlefield 3. but we can't say which ine is better yet because they aren't released yet. i'm no hating on either game i like all of dices games, and all of the call of duty games but black ops. lets just hope both games will be great!

Battlefield and all of the series has always dominated call of duty and any other game like it! No game has ever compared! Battlefield allows you to use vehicles, planes, jeeps, jet ski's whatever...... In other games the vehicles annd all that are just obstacles you look at. BATTLEFIELD FOREVER! No game of its kind will ever compare!

ive been a fan of the cod series, but black ops and the gameplay of modern warfare 3 looks just like modern warfare 2, so no new graphics. dice has worked really hard on battlefield 3 and frostbite 2, so thank you dice for working so hard to make one of the best games in gaming history Thank you very much!

Pre-orders, and total sales I bet will prove otherwise in terms of sheer numbers of people playing. Sorry, that is the truth. Just play both though, pretty simple. They have different goals. Not only that but this battlefield is just in a class of its own. Before, battlefield wasn't bring what people wanted and need from an FPS to the table, now it has everything and COD will not be able to compete until its breaks its boundaries eg. Bigger maps, more control over vehicles (I'm talking about MP) I was going to buy both MW3 and BF3 but now I think I'll just get BF3!!!

console gameplay still looks way better than mw3. mw3 looks exactly like old mw2. cod isnt very realistic because there are always a fwe guns that everybody uses because its over powered and nooby. dice actually went to a firing range and tested all the guns so they could all be balenced out.

Yes I too will be thoroughly pissed off if I wasted $60 bucks on MOH to get the BF3 Beta. I hope N4SHR is correct about a possible closed beta for the MOH Limited Edition owners. A smooth marketing technique it seems but I sure hope that EA and Dice wouldnt **** us over on the Beta. I bet some hardcore dude would entertain a class action suit if they did...........Im hardcore about BF3 no doubt, but I would just shoot a TV Guided missle at their HQ instead. :P

To tell you people the truth, i enjoyed playing medal of honor, the campaign was a bit of a let down but the multiplayer was great! I've spent many hours playing it! I guess I'm one of the only few who didn't think MOH was a waste of money......

If you preordered Medal of honor you should have gotten a key (judging from the announcement from ea that announced the bf3 beta for medal of honor preorderes u had to have preordered medal of honor for pc ) the key can be found in the steam key manager (at least i think thats what its called but i know you can find it through steam). anyway you get to play the beta 2 days ahead of us people who didnt preorder :P there should be either an email with instructions on how to get beta and or a game in the store of whatever platform you are using. this will pop up on the 26th of september as its 2 days before the 28th which is when we get acess enter the code and you get in

I totally agree! I only bought Metal Of Honor for the Battlefield 3 beta key. MOH sucked and I did not play it much. I guess I guess the marketing for BF3 beta got my hopes up for nothing. This is probably the only way they would get MOH to sell (Joking). I wish I could get my money back for MOH. I would happily return MOH and say screw the beta key. Computers seem to ruin things for us poor gamers. I mean, come on. $500 for a PS3 or $850 for a crappy laptop which can't even run BF3. The are just so expensive. To have the same amount of enjoyment I would have to spend $2500 for a computer that could run it smoothly, at the best graphics. Plus I'm not guarantee to have a fair fight. With the larger amount of Hackers and "Aim Bots" Saturating PC Based Shooters. Either ruining our fun or spreading viruses or worms. Where as Computers its, the person with the most money has the advantage, the console takes rich people out of the equation and puts how well one performs down to Skill. I do allot better on PS3 then PC with shooters, and thats why. Sure I want a more powerful $2500 computer, but thats not for completive game-play, but rather for single player games, PC exclusives, RTS's and sometimes just for mods. Here in the real world not everyone can afford expensive PC's. I cant on my pay. Anyway, without consoles would Battlefield even have destruction? At the time of BC 1 they decided to make a new engine, with destruction to take advantage of the New Consoles high power.

Okay, first of all a great PC doesn't cost you 2500$. That's just insane? I actually bought mine for 900$. So it's not really about the money.. I mean 500$ or 900$ that's nothing. And second, there's "hackers" and "aim bots" on consoles too? Well maybe you do a lot better on console than me, but this is my opinion. I say, consoles are for playing car games and even some sports games, while the PC is for FPS games. Oh, and Bad company 1-2 could have been sooooo much better if it was a PC exclusive. I'm sorry how are PC's ruining the console genre other then having superior hardware. I mean god forbid if PC has a specifically designed game for the PC platform all the console owners are there just to whine and complain about it. Lets us have Battlefield 3, let us have something that hasnt been "optimized" or "ported over" from the console systems. After, Battlefield was mainly for the PC and not consoles so its only fair to carry on the tradition. And whoever stated you need to spend $2500 + on a fantastic gaming rig is a damn fool. You obviously have no computer knowledge whatsoever, you can make your own computer and customize it to its full potential for less then $900 if you know what you're doing or if you have a friend that does. If you're spending more then $2500 on a computer then you're obviously buying the prebuilt rigs that are good but you're not buying the hardware you're buying the brand name (Alienware for example). I mean go onto the PC general boards in BF3 threads and ask for assistance they know what they're talking about, they give advice on giving you maximum potential for the lowest price possible. Just because your platform can't handle BF3's requirements don't complain about it, suck it up..PC has been experiencing harrasment from Console owners just cause their heavily out dated systems can't handle the future game releases. Crysis 2 is a prime example, its kind of sad how its prequel (Crysis 1 which was mainly for the PC) has better graphics then its sequel, all because of the most feared words to PC owners, "Optimizing", and "Porting over", in other words, "Some platforms are weighing us down so we have to dumb it down significantly so no one cries about it." and the ones who can go up and beyond the requirements are the ones being punished...anyways I could go on for days about this but I wont.

army trains all branch special forces with jump training, cross training happens constantly. Its one thing that makes our military strong. Other countries military train our branches if needed. It doesn't matter who trains who. All that matters at the end of the day is that the job is done with the least amount of dead. Do we constantly have to be bombarded by games with US soldiers. Can't we have some other countries armies. Like Australia. With our F88 Austeyr Aug's, and our Bushmasters. Or Britain with there ranger tanks? How about we do have the US defending Paris, but with French soldiers too? That would be cool. I would like to see what you are saying, A touch of another fighting force. You have to admit that it does seem like IRL US is in a lot of activity worldwide so its easier for game makers to get the user to relate to the game. Though i guess since its fantasy we could have Australia soldiers running over the globe keeping things in order (not saying that they are not doing their share mind you IRL... the US loves Australia). At least in a map id like to see Australia vs France with maybe some localized weapons, mix it up a bit. Actually being in the Army myself, I can tell you that we do in fact have to qualify with the M16 or M4 rifle at least once a year or face discharge. I know you're probably not checking this, but I'm going to assume that they're going to follow the way of how they approached the MoH beta last year. I remember being part of their closed beta to which they later made it open to everyone. One could hope that this is the approach they're taking, but you're not alone when it comes to wondering about all the MoHT1 buyers..

If you are going to purchase a retail release to just get beta to another game knowing that it is they only reason you are buying that game, try not asking the developer/publisher to justify your stupidity.

ehhh i dont know about that guy but, most moh LE buyers like me still play, it was just an incentive to get the game at an extra price and if we wasted the extra price on something we dont get, it just annoys us

It doesn't matter if it was a stupid choice on our parts for buying MoH just to get a beta key. BUT at the same time, they tried to boost their sales by advertising a LIMITED beta for us MoH LE owners. Now idk if thats false advertisements, but it says it right there on the front of the cover. I LOVE battlefield games, but EA is the marketing behind this bad boy, and this is typical. pshhhh the MoH beta for 360/ps3 was delayed by atleast 3 weeks, im not holding my breath for this beta. However, the game does look amazing, and i am looking forward to it.

battlefield 3 could crush mw3 but the problem is that the mw3 fans will probablly not know about this game until it is sold out...... mw3,halo,battlefield3 and star wars the old republic will be on the top of the games. I can almost explode just waiting for bf3. BF3 WILL CRUSH!

yeah... should have saved that money that I spend at COD F******* Black Ops and wait to buy this instead.... if MW3 stays like BO it will die. the only thing that could save it are the fanboys of cod's. cod lacks that realism factor or a great sound of explosions, love when my 'ears' are blown by a near explosion on BF2. but cod wins, I think, in multiplayer mode, it is 'easy', not so buggy or laggy as I experience on BF2. if BF3 runs like cod 4 or mw2 it would be awesome and actually gain more players. SO, yes, BF3 will put aside MW3...

I completely agree on that, you know how many copies of BFBC2 I sold while working at BestBuy, cause of the shear amount of things that could be done in BF over COD, not that CODs' game play wasn't good, it just lacked the amount of... of elements that go into real warfare, the BF franchise makes you think before running out into the open, with guns blazin, the only people i know that don't like BF are the ones that Run and Gun... BF has always been good at keeping it real, and making it fun at the same time. Hats off to Dice, and EA

MW3 is using the same old engine they used in MW1. That's why its looking like the same old crap. BF3 is using a BRAND NEW engine based off the engine they created for Bad Company. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frostbite_Engine And the single player is produced entirely by the Frostbite 2 engine, meaning single player and multiplayer are going to look identical.

Your all Fanboys, but The Battlefield series has been around and has always been about realism and the Cod series is all about fun and variety....Yea why people knock Cod so much lately? Cod 4 rocked MW2 was ok...more of the same but they Screwed us on the Lan Server Private server side. Anyways Battlefield 3 will own for realism and those of us who prefer Wide-Open expanses of a REAL Battlefield.....IMO..;-)...Hey and Dice since there is no way to contact you guys can we PC players get SOME way to host a Freaking game maybe 4v4 or just the DEathmatch Mode...I think it kinda unfair you allow ps3 and xbox players that option in bfbc2 and not the PC players....Tyvm.
