A new, epic experience is now available in Battlefield™ 1™: Operation Campaigns.
Operation Campaigns expands on the fan-favorite Operations mode and its intense clashes between attackers and defenders. In this extensive experience, you will battle for supremacy across select Operations to unlock rare rewards.
The first Operation Campaign is called Eastern Storm. This combines the Operations from Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar: Brusilov Offensive and Red Tide. Eastern Storm will be available for owners of Battlefield 1 Premium Pass or the standalone Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar expansion. More Operation Campaigns will continue to be added.
You’ll notice a slightly different interface on the Operations “globe” screen when an Operation Campaign is active. The Operation Campaign tracker at the bottom-right corner of the screen will indicate the Operations part of the active campaign, the cumulative score needed to unlock your reward, and the time remaining before the campaign ends. You’ll also see a star on particular Operation icons, signifying that it is part of the active campaign.
Participate in these Operations and your end-of-round score will be applied toward the progress of unlocking an Operations Battlepack. These may contain puzzle pieces for unique melee weapons like the Russian Award Knife and French Butcher Knife that you won’t find in regular Battlepacks. You are also more likely to find rare Weapon Skins and Vehicle Skins in the Operations Battlepacks.
Note that the content of Operations Battlepacks is not tied to specific Operation Campaigns. You can still pursue the Operations Battlepack after an Operation Campaign ends and a new one begins – but your score will be reset.
Remember to PTFO to maximize your score, and be sure to stick around until the end of the match to have it applied toward your progress. Try to unlock as many rewards as you can before the active Operation Campaign expires.
Have a blast with Operation Campaigns – and stay tuned for more campaigns as they get added going forward.
